About Us
History
Cauvery College of Engineering, Mysore, was established in 2025 as a new addition to the prestigious Cauvery Group of Institutions, which has been a cornerstone of education in Mysore since 2001. The Cauvery Group of Institutions, founded by Dr. Chandrashekar G.R under the Dr. Chandrashekar Foundation, Building on this legacy of providing quality education, the group expanded into technical education with the establishment of Cauvery College of Engineering in 2025. Located in Mysore—a city known for its cultural heritage and growing status as an educational and IT hub in Karnataka—the college aims to address the region’s demand for skilled engineers.
Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Cauvery College of Engineering welcomed its first batch of students in the 2025-2026 academic year. We offer specialized undergraduate programs designed to meet the demands of the digital age: Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), Information Science and Engineering (ISE), and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
