Program Overview
The B.E in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at Cauvery College of Engineering, Mysore, offers acomprehensive foundation in computing technologies, equipping students with the skills to excel in a rapidlyevolving digital world. Our curriculum, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and VTU standards, emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical applications, preparing students for diverseroles in software development, system design, and IT innovation. Candidates must have passed the PUC/10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a Technical Vocational subject. A minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST & OBC candidates) in the above subjects combined is required, from a board recognized by the State Government, Central Government, Union Territories, or an equivalent qualification. Admissions are through KCET, COMEDK UGET, or JEE Main.
Internships
Our internship program provides hands-on exposure to real-world tech environments. Projects
Students engage in practical assignments across semesters to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios, enhancing their understanding of programming, algorithms, and system design. In the final year, a Major Project allows students to tackle real-world challenges in areas like web development, app development, or system optimization. We encourage industry-linked projects, ensuring students gain exposure to professional workflows and innovative solutions.
